Thank You to the Delamere Dairy Foundation for Supporting Stockdales Children’s Play Club
Stockdales is delighted to announce that the Delamere Dairy Foundation have donated £3,000, in support of our much-loved Stockies Children’s Play Club.
Stockies provides a joyful space for children with learning disabilities to relax, play and connect with friends at the weekend — a time when safe, specialist provision is often very limited. The Delamere Dairy Foundation’s support will fund 2 places for a whole year! We can’t thank them enough!
Each Stockies session is designed around personalised goals for every child, complementing their school curriculum and supporting the development of social, emotional and play skills in a way that feels natural and fun. Children benefit from access to specially adapted toys and IT resources that help develop motor, sensory and communication skills, while also enjoying the simple pleasure of being with peers of a similar age.
“Stockdales has been a lifeline for us. It means Teddie can get out of the house on a Saturday morning and get access to lots of activities, like baking, waterplay, messy play in the summer. It means he has consistent social activity with peers. It’s brilliant.” Katie – a Stockies parent
The Delamere Dairy Foundation is an independent charity and a corporate foundation, which has received a financial commitment from Delamere Dairy, to enable charitable groups and organisations to apply for bi-annual grants ranging from £1000 to £5000.
Thank you Delamere Dairy Foundation!
If you have a child with learning disabilities in Manchester/Cheshire – come and join in the fun!
