We Welcome Two New Trustees to Stockdales

We are pleased to share some exciting news. Following our recent AGM, we have welcomed two new Trustees, each bringing valuable expertise and a strong commitment to enhancing the lives of the people we support.

Dr. Wajiha Basir

Wajiha is a respected cosmetic and implant dentist, and the owner and Clinical Director of Trinity House Dental Care in Wilmslow. Her leadership is rooted in clinical excellence and patient-centred care — values that align closely with Stockdales’ mission to help people with learning disabilities and complex health needs live life to the fullest. She also brings extensive governance and operational experience from running a CQC-registered practice, offering valuable insight to our Board.

Rachel Fletcher

Rachel is Managing Partner at Slater Heelis Solicitors in Sale, where she leads a high-performing, award-winning team. She has guided the firm through significant growth and organisational change, demonstrating strong strategic and people-centred leadership. Alongside her legal career, Rachel has dedicated much of her adult life to championing charitable causes, making her appointment as a Trustee a natural extension of this commitment.

Our Trustees are a hugely important part of Stockdales, and we are grateful for the insight and support they bring. Both Wajiha and Rachel share our mission wholeheartedly, and we are delighted to welcome them to the Stockdales team.
